Bouncing Ball Experiment

To simulate how motion capture may be stylized to achieve different movements, this simple bouncing ball experiment attempts to achieve a cartoon style. The techniques discussed in the previous 2 sections (Simulating squash and stretch, Kochanek and Bartels splines) are both applied here.

I began with a ball keyframed in 3 different positions. Following this, each level of computation is layered on top of the previous work.

To add squash and stretch to this animation, the techniques discussed within the Simulating cartoon style animation section is implemented.

Finally, Kochanek and Bartels splines are used to adjust the timing elements such as anticipation, and reaction.
